Groundbreaking set for $130 million mixed-use development in Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights Groundbreaking 2024.

Chicago developer Bradford Allen is preparing to break ground on a $130 million mixed-use development near the Jane Addams Tollway in Arlington Heights.

An October groundbreaking at the southeast corner of Arlington Heights and Algonquin roads is expected for the project, according to Brian Carley, executive managing director of development for Bradford Allen.

The 3.7-acre site was previously occupied by office buildings that were demolished earlier this year and will be replaced by 301 apartment units along with 26,000 square feet of retail space.

A swift groundbreaking date was set after the village of Arlington Heights agreed this week to provide $17.8 million in tax incrementing financing.
